I went to the Crossroads......

... yeah, yeah, I know... EVERYBODY's done "Crossroads". That's why I decided to try the old acoustic slide version, closer to Robert Johnson's original than the Cream version.

I'm not known for either my acoustic playing OR my slide playing, so I'm very happy to have this on my MySpace page to give listeners a glimpse of the stuff that I rarely get to do in public.

Just click on my name down below for the link.

Hope ya like!

I like!

Your singing is strong.

If I may deliver some constructive criticism: a little less reverb/room on the guitar would make your fine playing stand out more. Make it dryer = get more punch!

Great singing & playing!

I now agree with you about the 'verb, although I thought it was cool at the time I mixed it down. This is a very dead room, so I do need a pinch, but that was just a pinch too much.

Thanks to all! I really appreciate your kind words. I don't get much encouragement around these parts. The only encouragement that I get around here is to "Play more hip hop", or "Play some Slayer".

Tim-That was fantastic. I don't know where you got the idea that you can't play slide. I can hear the Duane Allman influence and the Elmore James thing.
Great vocals and vibe.
