bridge pick up fender tele 1968 [Archive]

recently purchased a 1968 tele.when i opened up i
noticed that the greenbottom bridge pu carries a
handwritten date 5-31-68.it is cloth wired.can anyone
tell me if this is a genuine pu as i have only seen green-
bottoms with stamped dates ?
