I never get sick of seeing people's Martin tour photos. Thanks very much for sharing. I bet the smell was fantastic.

We live near Milwaukee and attended a wedding in upstate NY a couple years ago. I wanted to drive just so we could tour the Martin factory. My wife and kids demanded that we fly to NY as usual. I was so bummed.

I'll get their some day. I have four Fenders and four Martins.

Did it smell fantastic? My D-15 case still smells like spicy mahogany every time I open it (after 8 years!)

Actually, there was not as strong of an odor as you'd expect. They do an excellent job of keeping sawdust under control (otherwise there's no way they'd meed OSHA standards without workers wearing masks or respirators), so there was just a faint and pleasant odor of sawdust.

I've been meaning to go for a while.
It's a bit of a trip from DC and they are closed on weekends.
Someday . . .

Cool, to bad you couldn't hide one under your coat on the way out.
