Yea, very cool here. I was shocked to see Dave Evans name pop up! He built my first BBender when I was with Linda Ronstadt. I remember his bbenders because the bender was rectangle. In fact, I had myname engraved on it.
Some guy in Texas now owns it. Seems he found it at Bob Woods Music in OK. The thing is, it was originally stolen and I hadnt seen it in 30 years. The guy wanted a fortune for it! I just said "enjoy."
Good to see this forum..very cool.

Yes..It was purchased by, of all people, Gunnar Nelson, Rick's son. Who would not sell it back to me for under $25,000.00 saying that he was a businessman and collector.
It threw me for loop, to say the least. Whats left to say? I guess he plans to make a nice return on his investment.
I told him "adios."

Thanks, its great to be here!

ps..
I'm more than happy with my present Tele BBender. At least it's out there making music and not shoved in a collectors closet or under a bed. Life goes on..

was pretty beat up and had a lot of "character" and was a player's guitar for sure. What was some of the history on it?........JH in Va.
