I know, I know. I am finally getting off my butt and reading these articles. Unfortunately some of them are gone. The ones I have read over the last couple of hours are starting to create some sparks. But like I said, I am slow (thats my story...). Ok, lazy maybe.

Hey that's all you need a spark. Don't beat it to death and loose the fun. Little bit of the geek with lots of the freak.

Good stuff StuH, EQ especially always seems like a 'black art' to me, i got this image from the TDPRI (did you post it ?) and i always keep it handy for reference.

http://www.tdpri.com/telephoto/data/500/medium/frequency_chart.jpg

If you click on it i think you can just make out the web address if not try here (http://www.independentrecording.net/irn/resources/freqchart/main_display.htm) the page then becomes 'interactive'

I just took a screen shot to give me an idea.
