Putting Fender SCN Pickups in a Squier

I just picked up a Squier Affinity Special Edition(Butterscotch Blonde). I've wanted a tele for a while and this seemed like a good deal. I love the look of the guitar and the way it plays(coming off a les paul and I have short fingers) but the electronics are a bit on the cheap side. I'm looking at putting in a fender 3-way switch and some SCN pick-ups and I was wondering if anyone had done this and knew if they fit right. I know the affinity's smaller the the standard telecaster. Also any other advice as far as new pots and what not, thanks a lot.
