First, thank all of you for taking the time to share your knowledge. Just got a 99' American Tele Calif. series.
It's got a Fender HB'er in the neck and single coil bridge. I want to replace the single coil with another HB'er. I want the raunchiest, ballsy sound I can get. I prefer not to have it routed, opting for a mini. Any suggestions on the make, model and any other considerations in making this change. Cosmetically, are there chrome covers for the mini's. Thanks very much.,

Not many options for a "real" humbucker to fit a tele rout. A lot of dual-coil "noiseless" tele pups out there, but they won't give quite the sound you're after.

I know that Duncan makes a "Lil '59" to fit a tele bridge, and they may make (I think they do, but am not sure) a JB jr. to fit a tele. Neither would be terribly raunchy, but they are options...

I use the HD V+ in my bridge with my SD 59 neck pickup and it's a great combo.
