Help My Head Is Peeling

Well Headstock actualy, the finish is coming away on my MIM Nashville Tele see picture, I need to remove the offending material without damaging the Fender logo and ser. # I would then like to refinish the headstock. Any suggestions please.

Surely that's a warranty job, are you the first owner, if so take it back to the place where you got the guitar from? Otherwise it could be that someone has refinished the neck and not prepped it properly causing the new finish to fail and blister.

It's a 2001 so no warranty now,I am not the first owner, the finish looks original, I have had the guitar stored in a very cold room, perhaps that has a bearing on things, however as I said i just want to remove the finish and redo it.
