I was talking to a guy that works at a machine shop and he was telling me that he milled out a vintage tele bridge to specs from a solid block of aluminum. He stated that the sustain was way up there.Anybody doing this on the retail market?(i told him i want one,he said i'll see what i can do)

Was it Jon Thatcher (JT) who makes JT Saddles bridges for Bill Kirchen?

They're made from an alloy.

Get in touch with my pal Larry Smoak aka The Wooden Wizard (http://www.woodenwizardguitars.com/index.html) as he works with JT.

Larry fitted my JT Saddles bridge to my Kirchencaster (the one in my pictures). Superb guitar.
