most recent i've tried.....
duncan qp - too much, p90ish, midrangey
custom flat and staggered - good tone but too compressed
virtual vintage solo - too thin and bright
duncan antiquity - too thin and bright
i've tried many others. right now i'm considering the lollar special s and the fralin blues with base plate. just need a strong, fat strat bridge pickup that doesn't take your head off or sound like a humbucker.

I have Fralin VH with baseplate, Blues specials with Baseplate and the fralin SP43. There all great, but the SP is very versatile, and tele like.

How about a Fralin Tele Bridge with base plate in your Strat, tone control recommended. ;)
