Hello all,
Finally installed a set of Copperhead pickups yesterday and all I can say is WOW!! They replaced a set of Fat 50's which sounded crap in comparison. Fat 50's were toneless and, to my ears, sounded dull and unfocused. The copperhead 59's are just amazing in all positions. Classic tones abound and for once I'm not stuck on the neck pickup. What I am really baffled with is why fender cant produce pickups of this quality. ALL Fender pickups have gradually been removed from all my instruments (Teles and Strats) and now I am really happy with the vast array of tones Im getting. For anyone stuck in a toneless rut Copperheads are the way to go!
