Good choice! I added a Sansamp for od, and a FRV1 for reverb - I just couldn't live without a lil' bit of reverb!

Got one of these coming my way very soon, in a bit of a deal.
Plan on using it live on its own, but also running it into a small 1 x 10" or 1 x 12" cabinet sometimes too Plan on making my own cab, but does anyone know for sure that you definately need a 100watt or more rated guitar speaker to run it into, or would a 75 watter cope? Plan on still keeping the rig light and compact, hence the single speaker in the cab. Looking forward to getting it, the couple I have played through sounded really sweet for the size of the amp and speaker, and was amazed by how much bass it could put out. |

I wrote ZT and they said it should be 100w if I remember well, but a very good engineer, after reading the specifications, said it wouldn't have to be. So… sorry for not helping. But I'm willing to know how you figure this out. I also would like a 1x12 or even 1x10 to go with it. |

I sometimes use a 50 watt albino webber with it and it handles it fine.

Ive been playing my new one in the house for now, but it gets used in anger tomorrow at a gig, with a soul band.
I'll report back on how it handles it And good to hear that 50 watt speakers seem to handle its output. That opens up the options a bit. Cheers! |

Did a gig with my new Lunchbox amp last night, with a 9 piece soul band I play in.
Certainly was loud enough, and delivered a good punchy sound, amazing how much bass this little amp puts out. My gig rig last night consisted of this (plus a spare Tele) ![]() Plenty loud enough, and clear too. And although it isn't high gain, it certainly gave a bit of crunch for the few rockier songs we do I did notice that it seemed to hiss a bit when I got close to the amp, but maybe there was other stuff at the gig that was interfering. Its runs quite hot too. I set mine up on a guitar stand for the projection I want. I'm pretty impressed though. A small cab to run it into is on the cards though, just to see what it does then Great!! |

Sollophonic - Skipton? Nice, I've been there a couple of times. That's cool with the ZT; this whole thread seems to be a plot to make me buy a cab tho!

I was looking for a new amp that have enogh headroom for practice with the band an small pubs shows where mics for guitar aren't avaible.
Firts I think in a 15w tube amp(Laney CUB12R or Fender Blues Junior), because they are supposed to be louder than SS amps. However they do not have the clean sound I really want to use my pedals. Then I look for the 1x12" loud SS combos like Cube80XL or Vox VT+ 80, more headroom than tube, and not too much bigger. And then, by chance, I found at thomman this little LOUD amp. Just what I need, because I can not have a huge amp in my house now. I discovered it two days ago, and yesrterday I just bought it from thomann. I hope it does not disappoint me, but I have the 30 days money back if it's not loud enogh for me. Will take some audio demos with the full band when It has arrived. |

I plug in a 8 inch plug in the aux input gives me a big boost cut right through. Will take some audio demos with the full band when It has arrived. |

Has anyone tried the Lunchbox or Club for keyboards or organ? Usually I wouldn't use a guitar amp for keys out of concern for the tone as well as the amp, but since these are kind of different creatures I was wondering how they'd react. Up until now i've been using a bass amp for keys but my new rig isn't as convenient so it would be nice to have something small for gigs on the keyboard.

losergeek, I have put some recorded tracks through the Lunchbox, with beats, organs, all kinds of things...it tends to sound quite trashy (not always a bad thing). I haven't tried the Club, but I guess it might give you better results.

I use the lunch box with a synth and it sounds great! Organ sounds good to but the low end could be a problem if the amp is too loud. But its works fine with the use of the lunchbox extension cab. If you are not playing low notes, or not cranking the amp, the lunchbox does a good job.

My lunchbox arrived last week. It is low enogh to practice at home, take all my pedals and of course, it's a very little amp =)
The only thing I don' like is that the aux input is controlled by the amp....I'll like to be absolutely pasive. I used it yesterday at high volumen....awesome. The drummer couldn't came yesterday, but I think it will be sure loud enought versus him. The best amp I could ever buy! |

I used the Lunchbox for a guitar/music tech demo gig at the weekend; until then I'd only used it for recording. No surprises at higher than usual volume and with different modelling gear in front of it. In my book, 'no surprises' is the highest compliment :-) If you're using something that enables amp/cab modelling to be turned on/off, it pays off to take a while to tweak everything, but I guess you could say that about any amp.
