marshall jcm 900

i've found a jcm 900 at a good price and decidet to buy it.now i'm waiting to receive it.i know,it is not a fender so the clean will be different,but how will sound with my teles and my strato?i always wanted a marshall!

the 900's are a high gain Marshall, brought about to compete against those amp techs who were making a killing hot rodding the 800's for customers back in the 80's. Nice amps, but remember, it is what it is, a high gain marshall.

The only clean I was able to get out of a JCM was thin and low bass response.. However, you can dial in a cool semi clean tone, that breaks up with heavier picking, but stays somewhat clean when picking lightly.

I had a 4101 JCM900 - great lead tones. Even the clean tones were good at very high volumes. But it was just too loud for me.
