Is this a Tweed Pro ... Transformer????
I just receved an old Pro Tweed Cabinet with some Home-made amp inside it. It sounds like a tweed.... but its some home made job. The largest transformer reads "JYO' in yellow ink the smaller transformer reads nothing. any chance of these being Fender transformers. I imagine they are not, I just need to be sure before I get rid of them. Thanks for any info.

I couldn't say for sure...my '53 has a Triad 6516 power transformer, and the output has the number 1846 on the paper. What are your plans for the amp? Are you just going to junk the parts and rebuild a Pro clone?

I'm going to get this up to "pro" standard..... i guess from scratch? I Also need to retweed the Cab, some one did it in some strange black stuff.... The only good thing is the cab is solid as a rock and the Paper inside the cab is in perfect shape. I may sell the Amp "As is", on ebay........... .. .

probably could do well with it on ebay
take really good pictures and ecplain what you know.
Another avenue would be to call a guy like Larry Rodger's ..who does excellent re tweeds ..He might give you a fair price also without the ebay headaches tom |
