Tremolo speed - varying vernier

:? Hi guys. I am working on a friends little Rose-Morris Goldentone, a push-pull amp using two 6GW8s. Got rid of all the hisses, crackles and noises, owner is very happy. But I changed the .01 and .02 caps in the vibrato circuit which killed the noises, but the vibrato now runs much faster. Is there a way to slow it down?

I don't have the schematic for it, but checking on the FFAG, it appears to be wired similar to small fenders, with a triode (one off the 6GW8s) driving a network of .01 and .02 caps and resistors coming off the plate and grid, using the intensity control to mix the vibrato signal with the dry.

I remember someone posting about changing some values on an amp with a similar problem to back the range of speed off a bit.

Any clues?

Caps

Don't quote me on this, but I THINK you need to change the .01's in
the trem circuit to .02's. I'd try one at a time an see what happens.
I did this in my Super Reverb and got really cool slow tremelo.

Thanks Mitch

Tried swapping one by one. Changing all three gave the best combination of range and speed - he's really happy with it now.

Trem

Glad it woked out. I think a really slow tremelo sounds
very cool in some applications.
