Small bass amp for Telecaster?
I noticed in the thread about the Best Fender Amp... that there were a number of references to Fender Bassman amps. Does anyone know of an inexpensive Bass amp (10 - 25 watts) to use for blues tones with my Tele? This will be for practice in the bedroom and basement. Maybe miked later. Just trying to experiment with tone while I'm learning. Presently using Frontman 25R and small Pignose. Frontman is really bright and clean.

MMB!
You're describing the Silverface Musicmaster Bass amp. Guys around here swear by them. I never tried one but it has all the makings of a nice low-power guitar amp. There's one for sale at the garage sale from one of the TDPRI stalwarts. IMO you can't do better for $200.
