Help needed quick
I am looking at a good deal on a Fender Deluxe 90, solid state amp. The seller says the amp cuts out at high, onstage volumes, but is fine at normal, lower volumes. I don't gig, so I wouldn't be playing at extremely high volumes. What do you think? Stay away, or okay?

If it was a "vintage" Fender TUBE amp
you could have the problem fixed and watch the value go up every year. Since it's a SS, you could have it fixed and watch the value go down every year.
Tone considerations aside.

Re: Just for giggles
for amusement purposes only, I'd guess it's an output transistor problem and output section shutdown isn't far behind. Or meltdown. And 100, 200 bucks to repair it.
Glad to hear you passed on it. Mik
