Blue power tubes!

Hey, guys

I was playing my tweed deluxe tonight. First time in ages. Hence the reason I haven't been posting lately. Anyway, it was noisier than I remember and the power tubes were turning blue. I assume that's a problem.

Thanks. Oh, and happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

If they are working correct you *should* see the blue gas in the power tubes, according to an amp tech I talked to. I know my amp works fine and I can see the blue gas inside the power tubes.

Blue...OK....RED.....

Baaaad. Depending on the tube, you may see blues....oranges... Some are only blue...or only orange. RED usually means trouble.
