Limited Edition '57 Deluxe
Well, I finally decided that I had to have it. The amp sounds VERY different than my tweed Richter 5E3. I know that the styling isn't for everyone, but I like everything about it now!

My Richter has very little clean headroom. It has a thick, saturated tone when turned up. It also gets loud very quickly and the sound seems to come out of the amp in 360 degree "Ball" of sound. Basically everything you would expect from a tweed deluxe. It's my "Go to" amp for gigging, and I can't imagine anything taking its place.
This new Fender stays quite clean until you turn it up about halfway. The cleans are big and round and have some blackface type tone added to the mix. The amp is more directional and when it goes into natural power tube saturation is maintains its focus and low end. The high end gets grittier when the amp is pushed. It really sounds great!

I agree that a Tele with Bardens into a tweed deluxe is a great sound!
