Reverb just quit - suggestions?

I was playing pedal steel through my modified Princeton Reverb II and the reverb just went off. The amp is still playing fine, but no reverb.

I replaced the reverb driver tube - no improvement.

Shaking the cabinet gives no reverb crash.

I'm about to put the amp up on my workbench and do some troubleshooting, thought I'd ask if anybody has any suggestions .

The amp is modified - I rewired it to blackface Deluxe Reverb specs.

Take out the pan, and open right up - most probably you'll find one of the fine wires from the transducer broken. Usually a quick fix solder job.

Yep, or replace the whole pan for $30 or so.

Check the reverb cables as well.

I unplugged the cables and plugged 'em back in and everything worked. So maybe I just have to clean the connections... I guess after 25 years it's about time...

You're lucky - next time it could need solder!

My Carvin SX-100 from '87 did that once too; I just needed to shift around the connectors too.
