Weber - Max Customer Service

We often hear about bad experiences with internet vendors, I think we should re-count the good ones. Even if in this case, a penny hasn't changed hands!

I just had to post this. Incidentally, I am in no way associated with Mr. Weber. I did order an 8 inch speaker from him for my Gibson Falcon once.

Now it's 7:00 pm on the east coast, the night before Thanksgiving. I just emailed him questions about his copper cap rectifiers, fully expecting an answer on Friday or even Monday. And I would have been happy with that!

Within 15 minutes, Mr Weber responded with an answer!!!!! Now they may have been easy answers for an expert like him, or maybe not. Who cares? I don't know if he's in a different time zone in Indiana or not. But even if he is, that would still make it 6:00! And he's still at work.

I don't even answer my phone at work 5 minutes before quitting time.

Words cannot express how impressed I am!

Again, not to imply commercial endorsement, but I know whose going to get my business from now on. If it's a product he carries, I'm sold.

I agree 100% with your comments, eastside. I called on Monday this week to order a speaker for my VibroChamp. A very pleasant lady answered the phone and took all my info to process my order. When I told her that I had a technical question (which speaker would be better for me), she politely informed me that Ted was unavailable but that he would be back by noon to answer my question. I called later that afternoon and spent about 15 minutes talking with Ted about which speaker would be better for my purposes. I had heard that the cheaper signature series would have done the job but after talking with him, I decided to go with the more expensive alnico vintage speaker. Not once did he try to convince me that the alnico was "better"; he just pointed out the differences in sound and build quality and let me make the decision. I had heard nothing but good things about both Ted and his products and the phone call showed me that they were all true stories. Now I'm just waiting patiently for my new speaker, I'm sure it will be as good as he promised :D
