Epiphone Valve Standard discontinued?

Seems it has been removed from the Epiphone site.

It's definitely not on their homepage, but I googled it and it showed up.

Looks like the Valve Special may have taken its place.

The Standards are still available. Nice little amps, they are!

I have got the VJ combo and like it, but would like to have gain/master to be able to get some crunch at "home volume".
Been contemplating the Valve Special, but the Valve Standard doesn't cost that much more.

A bit strange. At the same time as the Valve Standard is removed from Epi's site, Thomann has added the Harley Benton GA15 at a very low price.
The GA15, however, doesn't seem to have the same control layout as the Valve Standard. No Gain/Master and no EFX.

Confirmed

I E-mailed Gibson support and they confirmed that it is discontinued.

I like the VJ's, too, and am seriously considering getting one. But I'm with you. I'd like to have more tone shaping at hand. Too bad the VS doesn't come in a head version. Not yet, anyway.

Actually, I get by very well without the EQ, it's the preamp gain I would like to have.
