Another speaker ohm question
My amp, a Pignose G40V converted into a head has two speaker outputs, one is 4 ohm and the other is 8. Okay, given the exact same speaker, say a 12, doesn't matter what brand, one in 4 ohm and the other in 8, which would sound best? The 4 or the 8? Or does it even matter so long as the load is proper? Apples and oranges? I am just talking about running one speaker, not series or parallel situations. Thanks!

I have read where some people prefer the larger winding. he only way to know what you personally think of it would be to have two identical speakers but for the impedance and then run the experiment.
