Well, I guess it's time to post pics of most of my Peavey stuff. I've got some stuff I haven't taken pics of, but here's what pics I have.
![]() Behind my Esquire sits my VTM 60 and one of my Classic 412es cabs. ![]() My Squier Tele is in front of my stock Bravo 112 and my second Classic 412es cab. ![]() My daughter must be working on something with the Peavey Firenza P-90 guitar and her Minx bass amp. Not sure she should be playing the guitar through a bass amp. Oh well. I don't have pics of her Peavey Milenium bass or my modded Bravo 112. Maybe next round, huh? I've also got a couple of T-15 guitars and a TubeFex effects unit not pictured. |

Peavey Forum Gone Forever?

There were some posts and threads on the forum regarding the made in China factor and what was or not and most of the feedback was negative regarding the China manufactured products versus the USA. Then poof Methinks the top brass was not happy about this so they made it dissapear. How long does it take to upgrade software?? This is only my opinion and one things for sure I have been wrong before I really hope it comes back because it was a valuable place for Peavey info. I am looking at a used Windsor head for $300 and I swore I would not go offshore but it is sure tempting.

It's back up and running. You can't use the old links, though. You have to go in through the front door. Go to the main website, go to support, and the Forums link will take you there. They just came back up yesterday.

I use a Classic 50 410, and I went in last week and ordered a Windsor.

I also had a 65 Bandit and I sold it like a dummy.
Man I wish I still had that amp.

Peavey amps used
I've gone through several in 30 years. First was a Classic with tubes...should have kept it. Then switched to Fender. Later I went with a Mace, then Special, Reknown, then an '80s Bandit. I think it was called a Bandit 65. I had the best luck with the Bandit w/Boss analog delay, although the Special had a lot of clean power. A friend had a Pacer that sounded real good.
I also used the versatile T-60 along with various Telecasters. |

Classic 50 410 - LOVE it!
Delta Blues 115 - Like it. Peaveys are so solid and sound great! EDIT: Also Peavey Mark bass amp - 300 Watts! Last edited by Little Ricky; September 15th, 2008 at 12:46 PM. Reason: add-on |

I thought I would bring this one back from the dead.
Anyone know what kind of Peavey Amp Redd Volkaert plays live? I'll add to the list of guitars with one early '94 Peavey Predator. Unbelievable guitar for what they go for IMO. |

Classic 30. Bought new in '93 (I think '93). Great cheap gig amp. Never a problem and it was soaked when I left a window open and the hose pointed right on top of it this past summer. And I mean soaked!
Not the first PV I have had get abused and keep on ticking! |

'Nuther Peavey in the house. In addition to my Stereo Chorus 212, I recently bought one of E-merlin's Bravos.
It's a smokin' little amp. It sounded pretty good when I got it, but I decided to do a full re-tube just to see what would happen. Holy smokes!! I am thinking that once I get a Vintage 30 for it, it may well be the best sounding small tube combo I've ever had, and I've had some VERY expensive ones.

That speaker swap is a very important thing with Peavey amps. They seem to me to come from the factory with a speaker that gives you a bit of everything, but doesn't do any one thing perfectly. They take to speaker swaps very well. I was going to go with an Eminence GB 12, but that found its way into my 5150 Combo. The Vintage 30 should be just about perfect. |
