Do you think I should let 'er go?

I've got two MMB amps. One is in need of a few minor repairs and the other I bought a year ago and it had been gone over, set up with 6L6 tubes and the speaker was replaced with a Jensen P12R ri. I've got an offer on one of them but I'm not sure if I want to part with it. I can get the other one back in shape no problem but I kind of like having two. I know I don't need two though. I know it comes down to what I decide to do. What do you think I should do? What do you think would be a price worth parting with it for?

According to Murphys Law as soon as you get rid of one just because you think you do not need it the other will crap out on you.

Does Murphy's Law work that way if the one I'm getting rid of is the one that currently is running?

Yes. Unless you need the money for something else, keep 'em both.

let me be in the minority. Sell it. MMB's are not rare. If you really want another one down the road, you'll have no trouble finding one.

Get an A/B box, the broken amp fixed and run them together. Big fun.

That is why I sort of want two. although one is plenty loud to fill the role of my "quiet" amp.

If you mic it and gig it... keep both. If you're a home/garage player, sell the other one and put that dough to another Tele!!!
