I love the BR6's. My dad had one that was all original (actually he might still have it I'll have to find out) That restoration looks good, and closely accurate. Right colour and all but the material on the covering doesn't seem right to me. Just my thoughts.

It's genuine leather. When I set out to do the restoration, I planned to make the amp as luxurious as I could (afford)...

The correct covering would be similar to (same?) fabric used in book bindery.

I like it, it does look really nice, and not to be a thorn or anything, but I would be PERSONALLY more interested if it where covered in the factory style fabric....but going beyond what I think, I think it came out as a very sexy lookin MODDED resto BR6!

That's the magic word (modded).

I think many guitar players put more emphasis on historical accuracy than necessary. With the state the amp was when I got it, it was obvious that anything I would do would throw out the door any concept of historical accuracy.
