solder splatter on speaker cone. problem?...
so i noticed today that there's a little splatter of solder on the back of my d120f JBL speaker cone. this makes me sad. the splat is small, about the circumference of the very tip of a 1/4" plug. i don't notice a difference in sound. is this something i should worry about?

Probably not, is it stuck there or will it come off with a finger nail? Chances are it will fall off on its own once you crank the amp up and play a bit. Even if it leaves a small hole it can be easily repaired. Weber's site has very easy instructions to repairs small holes and tears in speakers with things you have around the house.

thanks. it won't come off with a fingernail. at least not with the pressure i dared apply. so if it left a tiny hole i could repair it and it would still be 100% in function and reliability? like it won't suddenly tear further during a gig or something?

just leave it alone....
It's not changing the tone, it's not hurting anything, it's tuck on there pretty good.... so don't worry about it any further. That makes you sad?
my goodness, if that makes you sad, go help out in a soup kitchen or something and that will help you focus on how blessed your life is. Else you need bigger things to worry about in your life, ya know?
