plug in amp at guitar jack for practicing??
Any suggestions out there? I'm looking for something I can plug into the jack of the guitar, so I can practice and not disturb anyone. Something inexpensive.
I'm not interested in the Pocket Pod.

How about the new Vox AmPlug? At $40 the price is right.

I may be chiming in a little late on this one, but I also recommend the Amplug. I just got the AC-30 model and it sounds surprisingly good. It has tone, volume, and gain controls and all three are quite responsive.
I had trouble finding one (guitar center doesn't carry them yet, or didn't as of a week ago), so I finally ordered one on-line.

I've played with the Classic Rock version of the Amplug. I liked it a lot. Good overdrive tones that weren't overly buzzy. Gave one to a buddy for Christmas.
I haven't heard very good things about the Heavy Metal version, however. |
