5E3 control layout

I have one of Jim's Li'l Dawg D-Lux's and anyone that has seen or played around with them know that nothing is marked.
Its all good really. I just pick a plugin and play with the knobs until I like what I hear. Which with these doesn't take much.
I just wish I knew which was the volume and which ones were the tone....and for which channel. Be kinda nice to actually know which was the instrument plugin and which was the mic too.
Love Jim's stuff, just wish I could tell what i'm really adjusting.

Here is the standard version you see on most of the sites:

http://www.prowessamplifiers.com/sch...e3-Layout.html

Seems awful pee poor that some one selling a kit or a amp would not send a schematic or a layout with it or if they do not mark the controls give you an idea what order they are in.

i reckon thats the great thing about jims 5e3 - no frills
i jumper the inputs and turn the tone up full then adjust the 2 volumes to taste
the one beside the light is tone

it will take you 2 miutes and some white stickers to mark em if you have to

also jim will send you schematics and layouts if you want just ask
you would have got the layout with the amp anyhow

sheesh this is one of best amps i have ever owned -

Remarkable I just read is website and and nice as his amps sound I find it strange he would not mark the controls it sounds like one heck of a amp. Not nocking him just curious why he does not mark the controls. To be fair I have never seen one in person so I do not know if they are or are not.

thnx OP lol..i thought it was two tone pots and one volume. theres alot of versatility in these, and quiet to boot.

thnx for the link to the schematic JH. jim just builds the best amps period. no frills...just pure clean tone machines.

mines a 35 watt D-Lux using a 15 inch jenson. best amp i've ever owned and one i will never part with, actually waiting on jim to get his shop set back up to build cabinets as i have a 15 in rebuilt jbl to go in a tweed extension cabinet for this,
