Vox Amplug
I just ordered the AC-30 model from Elderly today as a New Year's treat. Anyone out there tried one out? The sound clips that I've heard are pretty sweet.

I have one .The AC30 version and love it .Sounds very good indeed and from memory ,sounds just like an AC30 .It really depends just what you expect .Its not an AC30 substiutute but a very useful practice and possibly recording device .It will also take an MP3 /CD input .I also played my strat briefly using the amplug and a set of JBL powered speakers and got a reasonably good sound from small speakers I normally use just to get some decent sound from my Mac.I play a Strat ,Tele and Dot through it and all sound good .You can also plug it into the output of a pedal and it works OK .I use it with an echo pedal ,normal jack line to pedal then amplug out to phones or whatever. It can output through the headphone socket anywhere a CD or MP3 input goes so it could also power through an amp like a GDEC I think .I must try it .apart from my marriage licence ,whatever that cost ,the best 30 quid I have ever spent .
