Which Warehouse Speaker for Champ 12

Was wondering if the Vintage 30 or the green Beret would be more suitable for a Champ 12? I appreciate any input that is given here.

I would never put a Brit-flavored speaker in that amp--it has a Blackface tone.

I put a Celestion G12H 30w Anniversary in mine (as recommended from here) and the amp is completely different. Sounds fantastic. No muddiness low or high. very clear at full volume in all knob settings.
Fits in the cab fine even though the magnet is 3 times larger than the stock one.
I got one on ebay for $85 including shipping. It was used of course but I lucked out (I guess) and its an older made in England speaker.

Also recommended from here was a place to get them new cheap.
Avatar speakers sells them for $97 delivered. Or their broken in models with their own Avatar label for the same.

Dont know anything about warehouse speakers. Weird name though.

Again, this is assuming you like the stock BF sound but want it more, better. If so, any of Weber's US Vintage ceramics will get you there, from the bargain of the Sig 12S on up. Or you could go with an Eminence Patriot Series like the Red, White, and Blues or Cannabis Rex.

Try the Warehouse speaker

I've got a couple of the Warehouse V30 clones, a friend has 2 of their 80 watt speakers in a Twin, sounds great, much better than the original speakers.
And I'm going to get one of the Greenback clones soon.
You can't beat the price for a new speaker.
Either one of the Greenback or V30 clones ought to sound great in your Champ, it's not a BF Fender by any means.
And who says Celestions or clones can't sound good for clean tone anyway?

I went to check out the Warehouse site. Did anybody read all the way thru?

http://warehousespeakers.com/about.php

Apparently they are a re-packager and distributor of "American assembled speakers" thru a web sales format.
The American middleman dream come true.

Hmmmm. Wonder who's speakers they really are? They're in Paducah , Kentucky.
Right across the river from Supermans's Home Town.

They also an affiliate program that pays 7%. Maybe Tdpri should get in on that one. 7% is pretty good.

Them are some cheap speakers. Im tempted too
