Orange Tiny Terror
I've recently been intrigued by these amps. I'm petty happy with my home setup, Epi VJ head into a 2x10 cab. I've been interested in getting a more powerful amp so I can get into so jams, playing out, and maybe joining a band. I've read some Harmony Central reviews and they all seem very positive as well as stating how versatile the amp is. One thing I like about the TT is that it has some good speaker out options. My 2x10 cab is wired for 4 ohms now, I could easily wire it for 16 and continue to use my Epi VJ. I also like that it is simple. Vol, Tone, Gain, as well as the 15w
/Standby/7w which I sometimes wish I had on the Epi. I've been leaning toward a Blues Junior, but this may be a better option. I'm interested in hearing what you guys think of the amp. I'm mainly a blues player, but I like to get into some British blues stuff as well. That's probably why I've been getting to EL84 amps. I'm in no hurry to buy anything, so I'll have plenty of time to play some amps. |

the tt is a dirty little amp. not metal dirty, just dirty; a one trick pony (does that trick well, however). i noted from your previous post that you're thinking about modding your epi vj; do a search on ebay, as there is a guy selling modded vj chasses that you can plug into your current vj cabinet to turn it into a tweed deluxe, tiny terror, ax84 high octane, etc. even gives a $60 credit if you exchange your old chassis with him.

Tiny Terror sounds sort of Voxy/Marshally. I actually think the BJ sounds a little British too (EL tubes, ceramic speaker), but it seema s little more versatile.
That said, if it was me, I'd get the TT. It has a lot more personality, and I think it's better constructed. Also, Oranges are just cool. But, like I said, the TTs are more distinctive, so you'd have to be sure you liked the tone. Do some searches here, I know there are threads about the TT. Also, I think there are clips on YouTube. |

If you like pure, unadultarated Class A tone, in an affordable and easy-to-carry-around package, the TT is just the ticket.

i tried one about 8 months ago and LOVED it. I went with a DR Z Carmen Ghia instead, but that's what I had been GASSING for longer. The TT almost went home with me as well. I highly recommend trying them to see if you like it.

I liked the idea of them but I don't think the dirty sound would suit me as I play country stuff. If I had a Rolling Stones / rocky band I think it'd be a good investment.
