Tube Amp Doctor (TAD) Tubes from Mojo???
Has anybody had any experience with these? I am needing to replace the tubes in my Blues Jr. and will probably go with all JJ's but I just found these and have never heard anything about them...just curious...

tube amp doctor is german, right?
a great amp-builder in my neck of the woods is a freak... he orders and tests any tubes, speakers, caps... he has the strangest stuff, the weirdest stuff... (last weak he showed me genuine "space travel" capacitors he wants to try out) he has tested the TAD tubes and is NOT at all satisfied with them. microphonics, breakage, bad ones, etc... tung-sol and JJ are your best bet for most types of tubes according to him. I wouldn't look into TAD any further if i were you.

I really like TADs 6L6WGC (short bottle) 6L6s. They have a great tone and are, for current production, well made. I've had minimal problems with these TADs FROM QUALITY TUBE VENDORS (who check 100% of their stuff before it hits the door). Anyway, they make a great tweed fender amp 6L6.

Ditto on the 6L6WGC (and the SEDs). TADS are just rebranded Shuguang, JJ, Reflektor, and SED tubes, just like everyone else. Read the description carefully and you can usually figure out who made any particular tube. I've had no more or fewer problems with TADS than with anyone else selling the same tubes under different names; it's more important to buy from someone who has properly tested them, and burned in when possible.
