Installing New Speaker Question

Carvin XV amp. 12 inch Warehouse Guitar speaker coming tomorrow. There are no nuts and bolts or screws in the amp. Will they be included with the speaker? If not, are they a standard size? I want to be prepared when the speaker arrives. Thank for the help.

Dan

Surely there is one among you who can answer this question.

There usually are no screws, nuts or hardware included when buying a new speaker because of all the different applications. Just head down to your local hardware store and try a few things til you get the proper thread size.

Then, when you go home to mount the speaker, be sure not to over-tighten the dang thing! You'll wreck the tone and the speaker by doing so.

The Amp should have cletes in the front of it.m They should except a Machine Screw. I dont know off the top of my head what standard is but they will be around a # 8 or # 10

Thanks guys. I am trying to avoid dragging my amp to the hardware store but I will do that if that is what it takes.
