AC30 Question
Thinkin of getting a new AC30.I love the way it sounds with my tele.
I have never dealt with a master volume amp. How should it be set up.Channel volume cranked and then adjust the master to the volume desired or vice versa? Thanks |

Depends how loud you want to be, and how dirty. For the cleanest sounds, put the master volume at 100% and the channel volume at whatever level gives you the volume you need, but it'll get dirtier as you go above about 50% on the channel volume. For the dirtiest sounds, put the channel volume(s) at 90-100%, blend the top boost and normal channels, and put the master at whatever level gives you the volume you need.

Think of the Master Volume control as the "real" Volume control: ie loudness. The "other" Volume controls will be Gain, Warmth, Overdrive, whatever you want to call it.
