With a little help from my friends...?

I need to find a used practice amp. I was thinking of a pawn shop. Be the cheapest place to go. Anyway, any suggestions out there? Now remember, we're talking about an amp that I will find at a pawnshop. Peavey's always seem to be there.

Does Craigslist extend to your area?

I just looked. Yes it does. Keep an eye on london-on.craigslist lots of gear, and you don't have to ship.

Summer's here so I'd cruise the "yard sale circuit" for serious treasure. Where You are at I'd get knowledgeable with Stompboxes - I bet there's some serious "vintage stuff" up in Your neck of the woods that'd pay for any Amp Your heart desires.

Yard sales seem to be where the craziest amp purchases have been made. "You bought an original tweed Bassman for $15 from an old lady's garage sale?!"

Craigs List is another good suggestion.

Pawn shops don't always have good deals, but you may be able to haggle with them to get the price down.
