YOWZA! Savage Glas 30 in da house!
I have long lusted after a Savage Glas 30 but either lacked the funds or good timing to actually find one.
By chance I was talkig to a friend who owns one and was about to sell his to fund a home remodelling project. I drove over there immediately and bought it! By far, the best sounding amp I've ever played through! 30 watts, 2 x 12 combo with the Celestion 30 watt Anniversary speakers in it. It's supposed to be a cross between a Vox and Matchless. It has 4 inputs that can be jumped together like an old 4 hole Marshall and give a wide variety of tones. Can't wait to get it out there and play it in anger! http://www.savageamps.com/index.cfm?id=5&s=1

Congrats! Those are one of my favorite amps. I would probably own one if I didn't already have an AC30. I live about 45 minutes from Savage Amps and have been to their shop to check stuff out and have some repairs done. Jeff and Casey are great guys and they build fantastic amps. I really appreciate how much that amp can do. It can do a great Fender clean, get Marshall overdrive and get in the AC30 range too. Good move and have fun!

Thanks guys! I have to pinch myself! I never thought I'd own one of these. About 4 years ago I saw them selling for about $2400. Mine has a Calzone road case with casters. (another $300)
So I figured I was doing OK at $2200 for this amp, case included. It is absolutely factory fresh. Then I look on line today and seem them selling for $3000 new, without the case! I almost fell over! I think I got a screamin' deal! Can't wait to get it to the jam or rehearsal. It's too much to deal with right away at a gig. I have to see how my effects react, which guitars sound best through it, and then figure out how to change the settings quickly as the set list demands a variety of tones.
