Vero And Louis Electric Amps...

...Anyone heard or played through a Vero? I've checked out the sound samples on the website and I've heard Charlie Baty's, but I would like to hear any comments someone more familiar with them might have. I'm seriously considering one, maybe two. Or, possibly a Louis Electric KR-12. The sound samples of BOTH these amps are positively delicious! Thanks for any info.

Tom

I haven't heard of Vero, but I'll check them out. I've heard sound samples of the Louis amps and agree that they are gorgeous. If you're interested in jump blues, I can see how the Louis Electrics would be appealing.

Yup Larry,

Jump/swing/west coast blues, Chicago blues, and jazz. The Veros and the Louis Electric KR-12 are all made exactly for those styles. They'd also be good for western swing and rockabilly.
Check out Vero and their sound samples too. Like the TV commercial says...if you have an erection that lasts longer than 4 hrs... They sound THAT good!!

I think Nick Curran uses vero amps, he has great tone.

I've been up close and personal with Charlie's amp and - it rocks. So of course does Little Charlie. Gotta love those guys. Super fun band and Charlie's tone is just smokin. Guitar, cable, amp ... nice simple recipe.

As a bassist I really appreciate Lorenzo Farrel the bass player in LC&TN. He's got a great groove.

Never played through a Vero but did have the opportunity to plug into an older Louis. One of the finest sounding amps I have ever run across.
