Are these SFVR mods possible?

1.) "Brownfacing" the trem circuit?

2.) Ditching the double-RCA-jack footswitch, and instead converting the 1/4" boost-switch jack to that purpose? (In other words, making that boost-switch jack a stereo jack for plugging in a modern footswitch to use for the vibe and trem).

Both are possible. The jack thing is straight forward. If by "brownfacing" you mean like a brown Princton, Vibrolux or Tremolux (or BF/SF Princton/Vibro Champ) then yes and and not too difficult. If you mean the big brown amp trem circuit(s), then you are talking major modification as it requires 2 & 3 tubes (depending on the era). The small amp circuit requires one tube, which you have. I've converted many amps as I prefer the old soft pulsing throb to the ehh ehh ehh ehh ehh ehh ehh stutter of the trem roach (love that term Steve) circuit.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. The "rounder" throb or pulse of a brownface, as opposed to the "on-off" sound of the silverface trem. So it's not a big deal to do?
