Need a big favor from someone with a Marshall 1974X

I am building a cabinet for my 18-watt Ceriatone chassis and need three measurements to locate the vent opening on the top of the cab.

1. What is the distance from the front of the cabinet to the closest edge of the vent?

2. How wide (front to back) is the vent?

3. What is the distance from the top of the control cutout to the center of the handle?

My BB Ltd. is 1.5" deeper than the 1974X cab, so I can't really rely on it for the dimensions, and I don't want to end up with the vent right up against the baffle cleats.

Lots of thanks in advance!
Drew

That happened to me on my 2X12. I got the dimensions from the download section of 18Watt.com. I believe the dimensions they use are original spec.. I cut all of my cleats at once and wasn't thinking about the available space between the vent and the baffle. The drawing for the 2X12 doesn't show a top cleat. The drawing for the 1X12 shows a top cleat with smaller dimensions than the rest. I just ripped off the excess to make it fit.

Check out 18Watt.com. If your cab is 1.5" deeper (10.5"?) it will buy you a little more wiggle room and you can just multiply all of the dimensions by 1.17 to keep the proportions right.

Some of the drawings are in AutoCad. I can make some pdf's if you need me to.

It never ceases to amaze me how I always forget the obvious answer when I'm too close to something! Thanks for the reminder.
