Vero Amps...
...Do they sound as good as they do on the website? My Gibson Switchmaster with Lollar P-90's is lusting after the 15" Twentieth Century Ltd... and so am I.

Jump: I've been curious about that amp for a while. 15 plus two 7591 tubes for maybe 25 watts or so. Those 7591s have a real interesting tone ... this might be a great amp.
If you're liking 15s, see if you can scare up a Victoria Victorilux 115. Tweed like, but with reverb and trem. Or my current fave, a Sewell. Mine is the Wampus Cat, no reverb, very much tweed pro but with some added tone-shaping stuff. Doug also makes the Texaverb, more in the BF to Marshall vein. Haven't heard the latter, but the former is so knocking me out at the moment. 30 watts or so cathode bias, came stock with the Weber Cali paperdome. |

I've listen to Charlie Baty's amp a few times and - it's a really, realy good sounding amp. Sounds great with either his Epi bi box or his Strat. He's running Guitar, cable, amp. No pedals
I would guess his to be 45 watts. Realy cool 'juke-box' look as well. |
