Hey! All you Blonde 'head' owners!

... I have a poll/question for you! If your Blonde also has a dog-bone handle, what did you have covering the big, ugly 'hole' in the bottom of the box? It's supposed to be a metal plate, that covers only 95% of that hole. It bugs me, and looks cheesy. So, I cut a plate 1/2" bigger all around, and covered the 'outside' in the reissue rough Blonde Tolex :D. Does anyone else find the original plate offensive? Am I just being far too fussy?
