had a dream about an amp

i dreamed last night that i was on a crazy mission to make an extension cab for my champ.

i kinda half dreamed half consciously planned to do it and exactly how in meticulous detail. i can remember bits of it but not all. it started when i "discovered" in my sleep that i still have the old speaker under my bed and wouldn't it be cool if i made up a matching cabinet for it, found out what kind of connections i needed and made super cool mini 1x8 plus 1x8 mini champ stack!

totally forgot about it until just now. there were lots of bits where i went to my grandad's house to ask him about ohm's law regarding impedance and stuff. i even figured stuff out regarding that in my dream. like what the difference between running in parallel and series meant in that regard. can't quite remember now but it's on the tip of my.. mind.

sounds like quite a fun project no?

Yeah, I pretty much had that whole unified field theory thing wrapped up last night untill I woke up.

Damn the real world!

Indeed. I usually get the perpetual motion machine perfected in my dreams.

I love it.....I'm not the only sicko dreaming about guitars and amps.

Yes, you must make a cab for that champ. I've got a homebrew champ head that I run with a 12 weber alnico. Sounds GREAT.....

Yeah, gotta confess, I'm another one of those weirdos - the other day I dreamed about a Warmoth Partscaste with mahogany thinline body, Charlie Christian pickup in the neck position, P90 at the bridge, and LP Jr. style wraparound bridge.
Now I'm wondering how Freud would have interpreted that dream - do you think a guitar could be understood as phallic symbol?

In my dreams I seem to be able to write music, I've heard "new undiscovered" Beatles tracks in my dreams before, too bad I can't remember them when I wake up.

I was writing music last might in my dreams.....on piano, no less. I guess I had better sit down at the keyboard when I get home tomight and see if the Muse is still hanging around.
As for the Champ Stack....the only problem is with the OT impedance. It wants to see nothing else besides that 3.2 ohms. That would neccessitate using 8 ohm speakers in the cab and the amp...and never running the Champ without the stack cab.
