Roland Cube foot switch question
Question for you cube owners. Everything Ive read claims that you must use unlatching foot switches to operate the channel switching, effects, and delay/reverb (such as a Boss FS-5U). Does this mean that to switch from the JC 120 channel to the other channel you must keep your foot on the switch? I need to be able to stomp and go, but it sounds like this may be a problem.

No, you do not have to keep your foot on the switch. Just one press of the pedal will do the job. You don't have to use the Boss pedals by the way. I have got 2 very cheap alternatives that do the job - 1 for channel switching and 1 for Effects on/off.
By the way, my Cube 30 does not allow the switching of the Reverb/Delay via a footswitch. Perhaps this is available on the newer versions (mine is 3-4 years old).
