I have a dead carvin amp...

...that I want to salvage by using as a 2x12 cab. Anything I should be aware of regarding wiring, ohms, etc? Will be running various amps into it: 15 watt tube, 10 and 20 watt solid state. Thanks.

You should know what impedance those 2 12" speakers yield when wired together. Usually, one would wire in parallel. If the speakers are 8 ohms each, that would yield a 4 ohm load. If they are 16 ohms, the result would be an 8 ohm cab. You would want to know what impedance that tube amp wants to see. The SS amps will tolerate anythign from 2-16 ohms, I would think...with the difference being less output for the larger impedances.
