I'm an idiot- How do I wire a speaker? - please help ASAP!

I just got a new weber blue dog and I honestly have no idea how to run the wire to the output jack...I can't believe I'm asking this and showing my stupidity, but I'm so anxious to play through this and want to do it right.

Thanks!!
Jason

Here Ya go ...

The "tip" of the 1/4" jack plug goes to the "+" terminal on the speaker. The "barrel" of the 1/4" jack plug goes to the "-".

If you're using RCA plugs, the inner "rod" goes to the "+".

Jason...

Be careful to observe the polarity of the guitar chord too!

You DO NOT want to get the end that is supposed to go in the amp plugged into the guitar... or vice versa!

(Just kidding! Some folks will say that in a one speaker rig, polarity of the speaker is not that biga deal... YMMV.)

My belief is it doesn't matter at all with just one speaker. But I like to take the time to check and connect them standard every time, so that I have the flexibility to mix with other speakers later. I know I can connect and mix my various speakers with my amps. I have patch cords and adapters that allow me to do so quickly and easily.
