Deluxe Reverb speaker change a success!
Wow is all I can say about it. A week or two ago I got a Deluxe Reverb which had the stock Jensen speaker in it. It sounded great but seemed to break up a little too early for my mainly country gigs. A few days ago I took a 40 year old JBL 12" speaker out of another amp and put it in the Deluxe and was blown away by the sound. I played a gig in a packed restaurant last night without the amp being miked and it was "tone to the bone" in every respect! I couldn't believe this much sound came from 22 watts. This amp is a keeper and more important a "user"...........JH in Va.
