Huge fan! If you can't get good sound out of a JTM45 it's time to try keyboards... or maybe scrap-booking.

I agree. Great sounding amp - one of the bests!

But it does have a little too much horsepower for me. I'd buy (or build) one in a second still though! HAHA

Uh, oh! I feel more g.a.s. ...

A friend of mine recently bought a Rockytop JTM45 "copy" loaded with KT66's. It's 30 watts of just gorgeous sounding big, fat, warm, clean sounding amp that loves pedals. I'm a HUGE fan of running those type of amps at a reasonable level providing that chimey clean, and just adding however much more "mean" with a nice overdrive/distortion pedal(s).

I've been pondering selling a Rivera I have (a TBR-1SL) that see's far less duty these days than my main Rivera (M100) to help finance picking one of these thing up... thanks for reminding me...

Just kidding..

I was just kidding above. Wish I had a JTM45 and a 4x12 cab so I could let loose once in a while with my HSH Silo.

I've thought about getting Ted Webers 6M45P which is suppose to be like the JTM 45. Can you run those things with 6L6's in place of the KT66 or not?

+1 on the JTM45 and Champ, absolutely awesome amps. Now I just have to find something in power range in between.

The best thing I did for mine was to get AWAY from the 4x12 cabinet and put it in a mini-BB style open back cabinet with a single 12" Eminence Greenback clone. I also reduced the cathode bypass cap by quite a large value and put in all JJ tubes and rebiased from the cold factory setting for a HUGE improvement in tone.
