What's the fuss about Champ's Oxford speakers?
I just got my first Champ with an Oxford speaker and absolutely blown away by the dirty sound I'm getting while playing P-90's through it. I'm talking incredible sound. I'm comparing it side by side to my Vibro Champ with an Eminence Legend and the Oxford is killing it.
I know most opinions are to change the oxford out ASAP but I don't ever want to loose this sound. Haven't tried my Tele through it yet and maybe it won't sound as good with it, but if that's the case, I'll just use the Oxford exclusively with the P-90's.

Consider yourself lucky. The alnico "oxford" (I guess that's what it was OEM Fender) in my VibroChamp sucked, the cone was a little torn, 15 or 20 bucks got me a Weber Sig ceramic speaker and I've never considered another speaker, the Sig is a killer speaker for the Champ.
The oxford gets swaped out (and misplaced!) for good, real good, reason. I'm glad to hear you're getting great sound from your Oxford. Mik
