65 Deluxe Reverb-Amp Question
So who out there plays this old stand-by. I have one of the reissued jobs and love the sparkle out of this box.
My older Hot Rod Deluxe on clean can not touch it. I am wondering if any one here uses this amp and for what kind of music. The blues is a beatiful thing which the HRD does a fair job at and I am wondering if I can get the 65 Deluxe to work for me there.....its just sooooo clean.

I freekin love this amp....OMG it is next to heaven. One good thing about the moderate power of 22 watts is that you can turn it up and not drive the entire room out of the door.

I use mine for small
club gigs and love it! I really like it for blues because it has a nice smooth breakup. A lot of times I have to use an attenuater to keep the volume down while still getting good breakup.
The Deluxe Reverb is probably my choice for "what if you were stuck on an island and could only have one amp?"

I've been using one for about three years and it hasn't let me down yet. It's very reliable and I bought mine used.
I use it for club gigs in my three piece rock and roll band. I'll use a Blues Driver or a DS1, sometimes both with one as a boost. Often I can get away without any pedals if I'm in a large room and I can crank her. She smokes.
